About Regional Obala

Regional Obala is an independent regional outlet built by reporters working out of Koper, Piran, Izola and Sežana. Since 2014 we have been covering events in Slovenian Istria, the Karst region and the wider European arena with a young, independent voice.

Our newsroom is split across the coast and the Karst. We write about people, businesses, local government, culture, sport and the regional economy — knitting it all together into a daily regional pulse followed by more than 11,000 subscribers.
